Maxime Chaya on 1000 LL Lebanon Stamp!

On Dec 16th, Maxime visited ACS and delivered his presentation entitled: ”There is an Everest for Everyone” to some 240 students of the Middle School .
Students and teachers alike, were visibly pleased and at the end of the presentation, asked interesting questions that Maxime answered.
Before the session came to an end, Mr. Karim Abu Haydar, the Middle School director, presented him with a certificate of appreciation that read:
Thank you Maxime for your commitment to showing us that dreams can come true“.
Then Maxime offered the School a signed poster of his photo on the summit of Mount Everest, and promised to send 240 individually signed postcards, one to each student.
Also present was Mrs. Nicole Abu Haydar from the Ministry of Education. Mrs Abu Haydar came to attend the presentation in order to devise a plan for Maxime to give presentations at public schools across the country.

Mr Abu Haidar, the ACS Middle School principal, welcoming the students, and introducing Maxime to them.

Today, monday december 15th 2008, students from WELLSPRING Learning Community came over to Audi Plaza where they were offered a tour of the Bank, as well as a viewing of Maxime’s Everest documentary.
This was followed by a 45 minute Q & A session with Maxime where students and teachers alike asked Maxime about a wide range of subjects.
