Morning Frost on the Inside!

Today is a rest day.

It’s our third week on the ice, we’re sitting in our tent waiting for the Twin Otter to make its way from Resolute to our current location with our First ReSupply.

The arrival of a ReSupply is highly dependent on good weather and snow conditions, so we first find a flat and wide pan, then we buckle up and pray for good weather. If the weather turns bad, we must remain in place in order to conserve what little food and fuel we have left.

Update: The weather did not permit a ReSupply today. We rested well, but must stay put tomorrow in anticipation of better weather and the ReSupply.
