Shell called upon Max to address its staff on how to stay safe in a high-risk, hazardous environment.

Under the motto ‘do the right thing’, the seminars were aimed at making any accident, one too many.

Shell calls it ‘Goal Zero’.

Among the audience were also staff from Noble Well Engineering and Schlumberger.

The seminars took place at the Doha Sheraton.

Rotary Club Dinner

On June 16th, the Rotary Club of Beirut Cosmopolitan invited Maxime as the guest speaker for the club’s dinner held at le Vendome Hotel – Beirut.

In appreciation of his impressive presentation, Maxime was presented the Rotary pin and a certificate of recognition by the President Mr. Georges Beiruti.

Deir El Ahmar celebrates World Environment Day

Maxime was hosted on Saturday, June 13th by Women’s Association of Deir El Ahmar (Wada) to celebrate the World Environment Day.
Maxime tried through his presentation to draw the public’s attention to the pressing environmental problems issues and combating climate change.

The attendees were:
Mgr Semaan Attalah, Bichop of Baalbek and Deir El Ahmar
President of the Associaion – Mrs. Dunia Baroud El Khoury and representatives of municipalities of the region.

Wada was awarded in 2002 from Dubai International Award for best practices to improve the living environment.
